IS Meet Ups New Dates and Locations : Feb 23 and April 13 PLEASE RSVP

Enjoy food and conversation with students, alumni, and faculty in Eugene Lang College’s Interdisciplinary Science program at meet-ups and info sessions. Learn about course offerings, public programming, city events, study abroad, and alumni career trajectories in environmental policy and social justice, public health, and communication through the arts.  At each meet up, alumni of the interdisciplinary science  program will  discuss their career trajectories and showcase current and summer research or internship experience opportunities.

Alumni of the  Interdisciplinary Science program and working in Public Health will share their career trajectories and describe current and summer internship and research opportunities. Invited alumni include Alexa Riggs, MPH candidate at CUNY and Clinical Research Coordinator at Beth Israel Medical Center’s Pain Medicine and Palliative Care; Steven Houang Senior Research Assistant at Public Health Solutions, Larkin Mohn, MPH candidate at Columbia with focus on genetics and epidemiology; Nayaab Khawar, candidate for the Executive MS in Epidemiology and Clinical Research Coordinator for the Pediatrics Department at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn; Kimberly Libman Ph.D in Environmental Psych and MPH and Director, Prevention and Community Development, Center for Health Policy and Programs at The New York Academy of Medicine.
