Enjoy food and conversation with students, alumni, and faculty in the Interdisciplinary Science Program
All students are invited to learn how to find, fund, and secure a research or summer internship experience in public health, environmental advocacy, sustainable practices, community based research, big data analysis, clinical trials, and bench science. Jennifer MacDonald from Student Success will be illustrating the advantage of creating a resume or curriculum vitae for internships, fellowships, and employment. Emily Defelippis, Interdisciplinary Science Minor, will share her summer academic program in microbiology and explain how this experience will make her more competitive for summer research experiences (Slide Set). Faculty and staff from the program will also discuss the potential for a short course offered in spring designed to provide students with necessary molecular biology skills for research experiences.
